Ousman is a fine art and editorial photographer specializing in portraiture and fashion. He particularly enjoys working in his preferred style, which he has dubbed "Documentary Fiction." This form of photography combines classical portraiture, fine-art aesthetics, editorial techniques, and documentary-style image-making to construct conceptual narratives.

He is a frequent contributor to Vogue Digital, Condé Nast's fine art photography platform that sources and publishes emerging global talent, and has won numerous awards for his work, including the Lens Culture International Art Photography Award and the coveted Lucie Foundation Portrait Grand Prize.

Ousman has collaborated with publications and platforms including American Vogue, Garage Magazine, GQ Mexico, Vanity Fair Italia, Paper Magazine, Wonderland Magazine, Rollacoaster, Nataal Magazine, and Monrowe Magazine. He has also exhibited his work at London's renowned art gallery, Somerset House.

Ousman holds both a Master's degree in Photography and a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Syracuse University.
